1. Do you require a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) per style?
Most Bangladesh factories don’t accept small orders, but because of our longstanding relationships with our manufacturing partners, we can offer smaller MOQs to our clients. We can produce as few as 500-800 pieces per style. Please let us know your needs, and we can arrange the most appropriate solutions.
2. How many styles/designs do I need?
We can do as few as three or four styles with an MOQ of above 500-800 pieces per style.
3. Can SiATEX Bangladesh do large-scale production?
Yes, we specialize in large-scale production (10,000+ pieces per style). In fact, larger quantity productions allow us to be even more competitive in quotations.
4. Can SiATEX Bangladesh do my sample collections?
Yes, we can do your sample collections! Doing both your samples and production runs with SiATEX Bangladesh will generally be more cost-effective than having your samples made in the United States or Europe. It is easier to produce the final product directly at the factory where the bulk production will take place. Let us handle both your sampling and production in our partner factories.
5. Can SiATEX Bangladesh help with my pattern making?
Yes, as long as you provide complete design specifications and technical report sheets, we can help with pattern making and every other aspect of production – right up to having the finished products packaged and delivered.
6. Can SiATEX Bangladesh source my fabrics?
Absolutely. If you provide us with a physical sample or a sample image for reference, our staff can source your fabrics in Bangladesh through our extensive range of fabric suppliers. You can also create your own custom prints or arrange to have fabrics specifically produced using international Pantone color instructions.
7. What is SiATEX Bangladesh’s turnaround time?
Starting from our first briefing, we can arrange proto-samples in as little as 20 days. We begin by delivering and reviewing the technical report sheets and material instructions to our manufacturing partners in Bangladesh, and then we arrange for any adjustments to the proto-samples. Production lead time generally varies from 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the fabric selection and complexity of the design. If you have SiATEX Bangladesh produce your salesman’s sample collection before proceeding with bulk production, the lead time for production is 4 to 5 weeks for the collection realization after we have supplied and amended the proto-samples.
8. Does SiATEX Bangladesh quote shipping costs as FOB or CIF?
Both. If you have a relationship with a freight company, we can quote your costs FOB. If you would like to use our freight network, we can provide a quote for products delivered to your door or any destination of your preference.
9. What are SiATEX Bangladesh’s payment terms and conditions?
We generally require a 30% deposit to commence production, with the 70% balance paid at the time we release goods for shipping. We can also accept 100% payment by an irrevocable letter of credit issued by your bank (LC at Sight).
10. I’m a start-up designer, and I want to produce my first collection. Can SiATEX Bangladesh help?
Yes, SiATEX Bangladesh can guide you through every step of the planning and manufacturing processes to bring your first collection from concept to reality.
11. How much does it cost to produce a salesman’s sample collection?
A general rule of thumb is to expect each sample to cost about 200% more than the actual cost of production per style. This is an industry-standard rule to allow our manufacturers to cover the extra costs they undergo during the realization of the collections.
12. Can SiATEX Bangladesh ensure that my productions will be thoroughly inspected before leaving Bangladesh and guarantee that the quality of the goods will be up to our standards?
Absolutely! We have permanent staff in Bangladesh that follows every stage of the production, and we arrange detailed inspections on all runs right before your goods are loaded onto the shipping containers. At SiATEX Bangladesh, we prioritize quality control and ensure that the final products meet your standards.
